DoSomething.org

Campus Coordinator     August 2012 - December 2012

 

During the Fall semeter of my sophomore year, I was able to work with DoSomething.org as a member of their pilot program of satellite interns known as Campus Coordinators. DoSomething.org is one of the largest non-profit organization dedicated to young people and social change. Their 3.2 million members tackle campaigns that impact every cause, from poverty to violence to the environment to" literally everything else. Any cause, anytime, anywhere." This program's goal was to grow their college-aged member base and increase overall involvement in their many campaigns. 

 

Campus Coordinator Responsibilities:

• Act as a brand ambassador for DoSomething.org

• Raise awareness of DoSomething.org and their variety of social change programs on the Ithaca College campus

• Recruit new mobile members for DoSomething.org via short code
