Ithaca College Campus Life Award

April 2015

  • The Campus Life Award is given each year to a select group of ten graduating seniors in order to recognize their outstanding contributions to the Ithaca College community through participation and involvement in campus life.  Over the years, this award has become a coveted goal and a valued honor.  In order to be nominated for this prestigious award, students must have been extensively involved in a number of areas of campus life and have demonstrated significant leadership abilities and accomplishments.

  • The Peggy R. Williams Award for Academic and Community Leadership recognizes students who excel academically, perform service to the College community and nation, and represent an exemplary level of accomplishment. 

 

Alpha Delta Sigma Advertising Honor Society

Inducted - March 2015

  • Alpha Delta Sigma (ADS), a national honor society sponsored by AAF, recognizes and encourages scholastic achievement in advertising studies. ADS is the only national, professional advertising honorary society in American higher education.

 

Lambda Pi Eta Honor Society

  • Lambda Pi Eta represents what Aristotle described in The Rhetoric as three ingredients of persuasion: logos (Lambda), meaning logic; pathos (Pi), relating to emotion; and ethos (Eta), defined as character credibility and ethics.

  • Lambda Pi Eta recognizes, fosters, and rewards outstanding scholastic achievement while stimulating interest in the communication discipline. Members are required to have a G.P.A. in the top third of their class

  • Outstanding members who have demonstrated a great commitment to the field of communications are asked to become executive members and proceed over the following year's induction ceremony.

 

Recognition of Scholarly Achievement

Dean's List - December 2012

  • Each semester, students are selected for the dean's list in recognition of superior scholastic performance. Students qualify by attaining a minimum GPA of 3.70 while taking a minimum of 15 credit hours.

 

Ithaca College Presidential Scholar

August 2011 - May 2015

  • These scholarships are given to select entering undergraduate students of exceptional academic ability and/or talent, regardless of their financial need. The awards are in recognition of superior academic achievement with the expectation of continuing pursuit of academic excellence.
