In today’s days of connectivity, it is now more vital for celebrities to have an online presence. Just like companies tneed to connect to their customers and build their brand, celebrities must do the same. Social media gives them an outlet to connect with their fans and build those relationships more easily than ever before. However, many celebrities think that merely HAVING a social media page is enough, while this isn’t the case. In order to make the most use out of social media, it must not only exist, but also be used. Many stars farm this work out and hire firms and specialists to update their pages. While this does work for many people, celebrities that see the greatest amount of success from their social presence are those who operate their pages on their own, such as Stephen Amell, star of the CW’s Arrow.

Stephen has been able to take his successful social media pages and use them as jumping points to raise significant amounts of money for charity, as well as kickstart a successful wine-business, all while promoting himself, his show, and his friends.
